New Community Church has a dedicated staff who are passionate for God and His Church. God has brought together a diverse staff with different passions and gifts to express the fullness of His love and grace in preparing His people for works of service and building the church towards unity in faith (Ephesians 4:7-13).

The staff have a focused desire to see the church mature in discipleship as they walk with each member in their journeys of faith.  It is their joy to see God's Spirit working in the lives of His people as the grace of God is manifested in all who seek truth and live to please God.  And it's with gratitude and a sense of privilege that the New Community Church staff has followed their call to dedicate their lives to serving God's church.

Pastor Brad Paik

Senior Pastor
Brad is the Senior Pastor of New Community Church, serving at the church since its inception in 1998. One of Pastor Brad's passions is to counsel and help people resolve personal background issues, including the philosophical dilemma that exists with clashing worldviews. He is also passionate about evangelizing to the unchurched through compassion and apologetics. He, his wife Sue, and his two children welcome the opportunity to spread God’s grace to the city of Chicago and the greater Chicago area.

Pastor Frank Cho

Worship Pastor
Frank has been with New Community Church since the spring of 2008. He currently oversees Worship & Community. From the moment that visitors, friends, and members enter through our doors on a Sunday morning, it is his desire that people connect with God on every level of worship. He sees that each person has a distinct role when the church gathers. We come into church as participants, not as spectators. During Sunday Worship Service, he hopes that we'd experience God in a relevant way as we share our lives together. Frank has been married to his wife, Linda, since April of 2004. They have two children, Ethan and Jayden. It is their sincere desire to enjoy the grace of God, and share it with the lost and broken of this world.

He currently attends Trinity International University in Deerfield. Phil has been married to his wife, Annie, since November of 2015. They have one child, a baby boy named P.J.

Originally from Michigan, Lois and her family moved to Chicago in the fall of 2016. In the summer of 2017, Lois and her family committed to New Community Church with her joining the staff in the summer of 2018. She currently oversees toddlers up to grade school. Lois has been married to her husband, Gene, since June 2013. They have two children, Sophie and Joy. She feels privileged to share with the young generation about the powerful, forgiving, and kind God that we love and serve. In her spare time, Lois enjoys reading Wikipedia, writing her thoughts, playing contemporary Christian music and listening to electronic dance music!
